We have been learning about mixing colours. We chose which colours we wanted to mix and Miss Wright painted our hands. We rubbed our hands together and noticed the colour change!

Then we created a handprint to put on our peacocks tail. Our hands represent a place of community. In Reception we all work together and support each other. We try our best to be safe, kind and fair!

In Maths we have been learning all about the numbers 1, 2 and 3. We are learning to recognise different representations of these numbers and make our own collections.  Dessa used her subitising skills to sort the conkers into groups of 3!

Miss Wright read us the story 'We're going on a bear hunt!' We learnt the text map and actions to help us remember the sequence of the story.

Here is Nia practising the text map.
