St Peter's is a Strategic Partner School within the West London Teaching School Alliance (WLTSA). The WLTSA will be recruiting candidates for approximately 100 School Direct teacher training places (both primary and secondary) for 2019-20, of which one will be based at St Peter's. The St Peter's programme leads to the award of PGCE with the potential for 60 credits towards a Master’s degree and Qualified Teacher Status. This is an unsalaried placement, however we are awarding a bursary of £6000.
The WLTSA website www.wltsa.org.uk Initial Teacher Training tab includes tables listing all the WLTSA teacher training programmes including those at St Peter's. By clicking on the programme information button, you will be able access further information about the specific course requirements and information about how to apply.
All applications for these programmes must be made online through UCAS. To find any WLTSA programme on UCAS you need to use the UCAS teacher training search tool naming the 'provider' as The West London Teaching School Alliance (Primary or Secondary).
Any queries regarding these programmes should be sent to: email@example.com
Please note that there is a WLTSA ‘drop-in’ Train to Teach Recruitment Fair & Information Evening, 1st October 2019, 5.00-8.00pm. This is held at Sacred Heart High School, 212 Hammersmith Road, London W6 7DG but covers both primary and secondary teacher training.
This annual event is attended by a wide range of London teacher training providers (both Teaching School Alliances and universities) and you will be able to visit their stalls to ask them about their vacancies for September 2019. There is also an informative talk about different routes into teaching, finance, entry requirements, how to interpret what you see when you search for programmes on UCAS and how to apply.
Book your place here: www.wltsa.org.uk
All applications for teacher training vacancies must be made on UCAS and we anticipate UCAS will open for applications on 26 October. It should be open for programme searches around 5 October. Any queries regarding these programmes should be sent to firstname.lastname@example.org
