Welcome to Year 3

Welcome to the Year 3 class page! We are delighted to begin this exciting new chapter with your child as they transition into Key Stage 2. Year 3 marks an important step in their learning journey, where children build on the foundations established in Key Stage 1 while developing greater independence, resilience and curiosity.

In Year 3, we continue to nurture a love of learning through engaging lessons, exciting topics and opportunities to explore new ideas. This year is all about growing in confidence, working collaboratively and taking increasing ownership of learning.

Our Year 3 team works closely together to ensure every child feels supported, challenged and valued. We are very fortunate to have a dedicated team consisting of Miss Thompson (class teacher), Miss Smith, Miss Birhane and Mr Barlow. By working as a close-knit team, we provide consistency, encouragement and the best possible learning experiences for all of our children.

On this page, you will find useful information such as our class timetable, homework expectations and photographs showcasing our learning and enrichment activities. We will share regular updates so that you can celebrate your child's progress and be part of their Year 3 journey.
