Enrichment and Westminster 10 by 10

Our Intent

At St Peter’s, we believe that every child should have access to rich experiences beyond the academic curriculum that help them discover new interests, develop their talents and skills, build confidence and broaden their horizons. Our enrichment ensures that every child benefits from a broad and well-rounded range of opportunities. There are five key areas of enrichment: Civic Engagement; Arts and Culture; Nature, Outdoors and Adventure; Sport and Physical Activity; and Developing Wider Life and Future Skills. Through trips, clubs, performances, sport, outdoor experiences, leadership opportunities, community involvement and opportunities to develop skills for life, we want every child at St Peter’s to experience enrichment across these areas. Our aim is to ensure that enrichment is purposeful, inclusive and accessible to all, helping every child to Live Life in All Its Fullness and putting our values of Invite, Include, Imagine and Inspire into action.

At St Peter’s, we ask that every child takes part in at least one of our enrichment clubs each term and we offer a wide variety of clubs so that children can explore different interests, try something new and discover where their talents and passions lie.

Every school in Westminster is part of the 10 by 10 Programme - an exciting challenge that encourages children to experience 10 inspiring activities before they turn ten years old. These activities help children develop new skills, grow in confidence, and discover lifelong interests.

At St Peter’s, we go beyond these 10 activities, offering a rich and varied range of experiences for our students. We invite you to explore our year group enrichment maps to see all the fantastic opportunities available.
