Home Learning Year 4 

Welcome!

Year 4's weekly home learning includes:

Checked every Monday:

• 5 weekly reading entries in reading records. Your child should be reading for 20 minutes at least 5 times a week. Please record comments and a parent/carer's signature for each day.
• White Rose Maths booklet. The weekly newsletter will notify you of which pages to complete.
• Times-tables worksheet. This is to improve your child's times-tables fluency in preparation for the Multiplication Tables Check (MTC).

Checked every Friday:

• Spelling. From the weekly spelling list, your child should pick three words and complete a spelling homework grid for each (3 pages completed every week).
• TTRS. Logging in at least 3 times a week for 10 minutes per day.
• Bedrock. Logging in at least 2 times a week for 20 minutes (40 minutes minimum per week).

An email will be sent home if your child does not complete all of these weekly.
