Welcome and thank you for visiting our Year 2 page!

Here you will find: the Year 2 curriculum overviews, the spellings list for this term, photographs of the children enjoying different learning experiences, and photographs of their work.

Year 2 is the important transition year between KS1 and KS2 and we have lots of exciting and interesting learning experiences planned for the children. I know they'll make great progress both academically and socially and we will be with them every step of the way.

Looking forward to seeing what this year has ahead for Year 2!

Reading records

Reading records should be in bags every day.

On Monday and Thursday, reading diaries will be checked and books will be swapped.

On Thursday, children who have less than 5 entries in their diaries will need to attend reading catch up during Thursday PM break. More than 3 attendances at reading club in a half term will prompt a parent meeting.

Homework

Year 2 received homework to complete over half term. Please can this be returned on Monday 19th February for marking. If you do not have a copy of the homework at home, the booklets are available to download from the website under 'homework'.
