Year 4 had a great day out to The Tower of London, and really enjoyed taking part in the massed choir, in front of a large audience!

Year 4 have been thinking about their rights as children, as guaranteed by the UN. St Peter's is a rights respecting school, so it's important that all the children know, and think about, their rights.

Year 4 visited the Tower of London ahead of their choir visit later this term!

Year 4 enjoyed learning about skipping with Skippy John.

Skipping is a great way to stay fit and improve coordination, and Skippy John taught us lots of different techniques which we'll look forward to practicing later.

Year 4 had a great day out at the University of Westminster as part of World of Work Week. We went on a tour and got to see how things worked at a bustling university. Then we learned about film and TV and even made our own stop motion animation films!

We enjoyed designing our postcards from the past, using card and oil pastels to recreate postcards that would be sent to soldiers during WW1

Year 4 enjoyed their silent film workshop this Monday. It was a great way to start back at school after the half term. We discussed techniques used in silent film, including expression and body language. We also prepared our storyboards for our silent film later this term!

Many thanks to all the parents who came to watch the year 3 and 4 nativity play. The children really worked hard & did a great job!

Year 4 had a great time at the science museum as part of our topic, How Humans Work. We took part in the presentation It Takes Guts, and learned about the process of digestion, with Joao even taking home 1st prize in the burping competition!

Year 4 & 3 are looking forward to our joint nativity play on Thursday 14th November. Below is the script for any children who don't remember their lines. The more practice we do, the better it'll be!

Year 4 spent the day at a forest school at Paddington Rec. They had the chance to learn how to start fires, cook food and explore nature.

Year 4 are getting into the Christmas spirit by designing their own Christmas cards. The finished designs will be available to buy, with the proceeds going to charity.

During half term it would be great if your children could start practicing the 6, 7 & 8 times tables, which we'll be studying for the next half of term.

Today the children enjoyed two workshops celebrating black history month. They experienced lessons through story telling, and learned how to play traditional African drums.

The Living Together home learning project is due in by the end of next week. Here are the instructions in case anyone needs them.

This morning we used green and pink highlighters to assess two pieces written by others in the class.
