Please collect your children promptly from the playground. If you are going to be delayed please contact the office.  Furthermore, if you have arranged for somebody else to pick up your child from school it is essential that you let us know in advance or we will not release the child.

Attendance and Punctuality Information for Parents

At our school, we understand the crucial role that regular attendance and punctuality play in your child's academic success and future opportunities. Research consistently shows that students who attend school regularly are more likely to achieve their potential and have better life prospects. Therefore, we are committed to promoting good attendance and will closely monitor all absences.

Reporting Absences

To ensure we are aware of any absences as soon as possible, please call the school on the morning of your child's illness. If we have not received a call by 10:00 AM, our school administrator will contact you to inquire about your child's absence. Our school inclusion manager carefully monitors both authorised and unauthorised absences to support and encourage consistent attendance.

The Importance of Punctuality

Punctuality is an essential life skill that greatly contributes to overall good school attendance. Being on time sets a positive tone for the day and helps your child get into the right mindset for learning. Developing the habit of punctuality in school will benefit your child throughout their education, in their future workplace, and in life.

Consider this: if your child is late by just 5 minutes each day, they will lose a total of 3 days of learning over the course of a year. If they are late by 10 minutes daily, it equates to missing 6.5 days in a year.

Every minute of every day counts! By ensuring your child arrives on time, you are helping them start their day positively and set themselves up for success.

Thank you for your cooperation in supporting your child's attendance and punctuality. Together, we can help them achieve their best.
