A great set of websites with lots of advise of how your child can use the internet safely.
Easy Fundraising
Dear Parents,
If you wish to help raise money for our school at no extra cost to yourself - please sign up to https://www.easyfundraising.org.uk/. All you need to do is to click on the link and pick St Peter's School from the drop down menu and every time you shop the online company that you use will give a donation to the school. It is very simple to do and takes a matter of minutes to register. Just remember to pick St Peter's CofE Paddington from the list of charities you want to subscribe to. Most of the major retailers use this scheme.
Dear Parents,
Some parents have expressed their concern about the 'Momo challenge', widely publicised recently as a social media phenomenon encouraging children to commit acts of self-harm and even suicide. There was an article about it in the Daily Telegraph (please click here to read the article) and National Online Safety published the attached poster to help parents talking to their children about making safer decisions online.
There seems now to be a suggestion that the Momo challenge was a hoax, but, hoax or not, I nonetheless reassure parents that within the school there is no unsupervised access to any website on any device.
